Just as friendship
so is the Sea
she flows in and out
she listens to me
I hear her voice
sometimes strong others soft
like the shell
that holds the sound aloft
Speaking one day
not the next
never would I
put our friendship to rest
there’s comfort and courage
in the words we speak
I ponder so many
some I repeat
Like a child
I clamor – hunger for more
there’s never too much
wisdom from my friend at the shore
Thanks to Noel back in Zurich for the photo

Thank you for visiting Moondustwriter. One of the many exciting things I've had the honor of doing is writing and publishing in multiple genres (including education) in E. African for E. Africa. As a writer, it is a thrill to write for children (on all continents) who want to learn.
I've been part of the blogging community for more than 13 years. Some old timers may remember the award winning (2011 Twitter Shorty ) blog community - One Stop Poetry. I was the co-producer of that fast growing blog community.
I am a published writer, poet, artist and photographer. I have written, as well as edited, for periodicals, radio, blogs and fellow writers.
There are many facets to this moon - my joy is in meeting you!

I want to thank you for your reply. This is my first attempt at posting my work. In addition, this is my first attempt at blogging. So you have a special place. Please tell me what you think of “My Dance” when you visit the blog.
My mother tells me often that the visual imaginary in my writting is stunning. I can only say thank you because, I never had anyone read my work. Though the visual mechanisms you use here are stunning. And the format relaxed and personable.
