It is the
VETERAN,
not the preacher,
who has given us freedom of religion.
It is
the VETERAN,
not the reporter,
who has given us freedom of the press.
It is
the VETERAN,
not the poet,
who has given us freedom of speech.
It is
the VETERAN,
not the campus organizer,
who has given us freedom to assemble.
It is
the VETERAN,
not the lawyer,
who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It is
the VETERAN,
not the politician,
Who has given us the right to vote.
It is the
VETERAN who
salutes the Flag,
It is
the
VETERAN
who serves
under the Flag.

Do you know someone who has served or is serving so that you can be safe? Thank those people who proudly serve.
A special thanks to brothers and sisters serving in the United States Navy – Anchors Away!!!
Oh this is sooooo true…my Dad, both my grandfathers, the parents and grandparents of many friends…and my Mum actually also worked for the Admiralty in Liverpool’s Liver building…their stories all need to be told so we never forget…xx

This is so important. True bravery is shown in the faces of the veterans. They deserve so much more respect than they receive.
