He reached for her outstretched arm
she smiled back with starry eyes
energy surged between them
a cosmic bond melded them
**
Linked by fate not of their choosing
no resistance to its pull possible
there was no need
neither desired to fight the flow
**
Drawing her closer, he stopped
their hot breath quickened
their lips quivering
anticipating heaven on earth
**
As their lips met,
their bodies sighed with the knowledge
this was the embrace
they had waited for their entire lives
their lips never to be apart again
Thanks to Aarmono for the perfect Embrace

Thank you for visiting Moondustwriter. One of the many exciting things I've had the honor of doing is writing and publishing in multiple genres (including education) in E. African for E. Africa. As a writer, it is a thrill to write for children (on all continents) who want to learn.
I've been part of the blogging community for more than 13 years. Some old timers may remember the award winning (2011 Twitter Shorty ) blog community - One Stop Poetry. I was the co-producer of that fast growing blog community.
I am a published writer, poet, artist and photographer. I have written, as well as edited, for periodicals, radio, blogs and fellow writers.
There are many facets to this moon - my joy is in meeting you!

Hey there would you mind sharing which blog plaftorm you’re using? I’m planning to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a difficult time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique. P.S Sorry for getting off-topic but I had to ask!

The perfect embrace and the perfect kiss…what every poet longs for in their own lives…perhaps that’s why we write about it so much or maybe we just recalling the perfect moment longing for it to return…oh just some random thoughts brought on by your fine poem. I think I’ll go stand in the moonlight for awhile. 😉
