Moon Dance

She glows so bright

shining in full regalia

water reflects

her fluid movement

diamond like

in the blue darkness

***

She loves to show

herself in her finery

Lacy clouds wrap

themselves around her

like a silken cloak

***

During her dance

the finery

is cast aside

her beauty

needs no embellishment

***

she takes center stage

clouds don’t mind

gladly they share

with the darling

of the night

Thank you for visiting Moondustwriter. One of the many exciting things I've had the honor of doing is writing and publishing in multiple genres (including education) in E. African for E. Africa. As a writer, it is a thrill to write for children (on all continents) who want to learn. I've been part of the blogging community for more than 13 years. Some old timers may remember the award winning (2011 Twitter Shorty ) blog community - One Stop Poetry. I was the co-producer of that fast growing blog community. I am a published writer, poet, artist and photographer. I have written, as well as edited, for periodicals, radio, blogs and fellow writers. There are many facets to this moon - my joy is in meeting you!

    1. I love to dance too. I don’t do it regularly but as you say it is liaribteng. And I like that I become aware of my body so I kind of get in touch with it. Amazing. Why? maybe because they feel ashame.

    2. I have been surfing oninle more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all site owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will be much more useful than ever before.

  2. Excellent!
Loved the last stanza.. the graceful nature of the clouds, stepping aside happily to make way for the moon… really beautiful!
You’ve captured the moment in a lovely way with your words..

    2. I’m also writing to let you untensdard what a helpful discovery my wife’s daughter gained using your blog. She learned a good number of pieces, which included how it is like to have an incredible giving style to let many people clearly thoroughly grasp a number of problematic subject matter. You actually exceeded people’s expected results. I appreciate you for providing the important, safe, informative and in addition unique thoughts on the topic to Evelyn.

    1. You gotta know the moon is such a beautiful image. She conveys feeling from her fingertips (if she had any)

Beautiful. I have seen so many nights like this along the shores of the Great Lakes. Always a pleasure to behold–and there’s nothing quite like a moonlit night sitting on the beach, bonfire in tow.

Such a fantastical image lent to something people see everyday, yet so few take the time to cherish. Wonderful!
