The Power to Rap #FlashFiction

( this is over 160 – don’t mess wit me)

Hear my stic  ‘bout knights of old

Tales foretold

but have u heard one

rarely laid down

Dis is bout a knight’s dayz off

he don’t fight

takes it downtown

the man is gettin down

rappin man is quite a fool

but boyz the ladies think he’s cool

Thanks to my friend Sean Vessey who keeps bailing me out of writing dilemmas. I think this is more his than mine. Join us, each Monday, as we begin The Quest of Titan our  endeavor in writing a novel in “duet” form.

Monkey Man is the fun and crazy weekly host of the fast and furious Flash Fiction. Why Flash? It’s over before you have begun. In 160 characters, there is nothing more than blinking that occurs.

  1. Oh good lord. Eminem now has you nipping at his heels.

Odd thing happened at white boyz estate
outside of Detroit a couple of days ago
    (true story)
seems a deer was trying to crash the gate
and ended hung up in a gory deadly state
as that po deer eyed doe
jumped up looking for ‘shroom’s for it’s palate.
Bambi it seems had the height
    but not the strength
    to go the whole length
    o’er da gate. Right!
    da deer chick,
    it got spiked that night.

  2. Ooo, a whole novel in duet form you say? I like the sounds of this. As brian said – from what we’ve all seen of your duets, I like where this is leading!

*grins* Nice beat, nice convergence of knights and rappers…certainly didn’t see that one coming.
