Life ~
filled with nothing
bareness , no growth
light recedes into darkness
clouds and the wind reside here
yet always imagining
the taste of “everything”
***
Everything…
breathe it
like the finest scent
of roses
taste it …
a rich bouquet
the finest wine
Jubilant
sunshine and laughter
love -would- be -there
*
and then …
a glimpse from a vacant room
it was Everything
scenes from my dreams
hopes in my heart
it was you
*
Laughter yet sadness
sunshine and rain
flowers and harvest
our hands
mere millimeters away
*
sadly…
whatever it was receded
as hope often does
now my nothing
is more vacant
filled with pain
life without any possible
replication
of you…

“Bucket of Tears” by L. Moon 2010
To this reader the voice in the piece is coming to a realization of sadness. That feeling of leaving something behind, but realizing that perhaps, it left you. Just how I read it…RS

I don’t think there’s any worse feeling than of being left, alone, empty. You captured it so well with this piece.

Never replicate always make it new that way hope is ever a close friend. Why have a fake when you can make the real deal?
