Dawn: you break open my world, give me warmth for a new day
give me a path to place my feet and shine a light in an otherwise
dark existence…
Learning to live by the indwelling life of Christ.
Looking ahead, without looking back (too often)
Thanks for following a cowgirl on her crazy life journey.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before. - Edgar Allan Poe

Chasing the dawn has been a past time for awhile, first on horses, then cycling with my dear friend now with my camera

I feel this poem on at many levels. What the pictures say, what the words say, what the pictures and words say together, and what is unsaid. We are never alone in darkness. Thank you for sharing your words and pictures of the dawn.

That is the correct blog for anbyody who needs to find out about this topic. You realize a lot its virtually laborious to argue with you (not that I actually would want…HaHa). You definitely put a brand new spin on a subject thats been written about for years. Great stuff, just nice!

since I could not comment under the photos I’ll comment here – I got up at three a few mornings past and ran to the hills to catch the sun rise. We live below the Sierra Madre. The original shot ( on my iphone) at the top was “photoshopped” where I altered the aspects of color. You can never catch the feeling but the glory of color emerging into the day takes my breath away
