A New Day Beckons – L. Moon

Yaweh- You are God
your words spoken  through the light
majesty is yours

The prompt at Carpe Diem is the Emperor which is one of the Tarot cards. The emperor can also refer to God.

Thank you for visiting Moondustwriter. One of the many exciting things I've had the honor of doing is writing and publishing in multiple genres (including education) in E. African for E. Africa. As a writer, it is a thrill to write for children (on all continents) who want to learn. I've been part of the blogging community for more than 13 years. Some old timers may remember the award winning (2011 Twitter Shorty ) blog community - One Stop Poetry. I was the co-producer of that fast growing blog community. I am a published writer, poet, artist and photographer. I have written, as well as edited, for periodicals, radio, blogs and fellow writers. There are many facets to this moon - my joy is in meeting you!

      1. as a child of The Great Depression, raised on a farm in the mdewist to strict 7th-day adventist’s ( who were also heavy drinkers) my mom had to do everything. in 8th grade she was told she would NOT be continuing education, as women did not need to be educated. 2 years later at the age of 16, she left home and went 3 towns away and became a live-in nanny and housekeeper of a little boy. then at the age of 28, not knowing a soul, she got on a train bound for NY City. where she found work for a photographer and then at western union, and she read a lot, and taught herself and became a book keeper. My mother is NOT without flaws (inpatience is one of them) but she was a determined bright woman, and I admire her own personal triumph over opression. My mother’s best gift to me was the gift of determination! This was a wonderful testament to your mom. Bless you and her.Susan Susan G recently posted..
