The Golden Hour #wordpress #photochallenge #photography

pediment

architecture

the theaterstorms end

The golden hour

when light fuses with nature

birds finish their nest building

fire flys get their cue

and we exhale

… another day

I love the way that the light diffuses and warms at the end of the day – the architecture has a warm glow to it’s ivory texture

Thanks to this week’s wordpress photo challenge  “The Golden Hour”

Thank you for visiting Moondustwriter. One of the many exciting things I've had the honor of doing is writing and publishing in multiple genres (including education) in E. African for E. Africa. As a writer, it is a thrill to write for children (on all continents) who want to learn. I've been part of the blogging community for more than 13 years. Some old timers may remember the award winning (2011 Twitter Shorty ) blog community - One Stop Poetry. I was the co-producer of that fast growing blog community. I am a published writer, poet, artist and photographer. I have written, as well as edited, for periodicals, radio, blogs and fellow writers. There are many facets to this moon - my joy is in meeting you!

  1. Your words and pictures mix wonderfully to tell the story of the Golden Hour when day is over, “… another day.”
My favorite is the cue for the firefly. I always wondered. 🙂

Thank you for checking on me and for leaving your nice comment.

  2. ‘Tis mystifying, the ways in which nature makes the beautiful, more so… and brings beauty to the darkness. So well seen and versed here. The Golden Hour. _m
