been this way before
my world ocean encircled
welcome to my home
*
from the highest peak
civilization in sight
Catalina
*
water on all sides
nature frames this lush world
desert island
*
all I need I have
refreshed in the endless blue
food falls from heaven

The Carpe Diem prompt today is Desert Island. One question Kristjaan asked: what would you take to a desert island? I’ve worked on two desert islands and was surprised that the food was plentiful and the water surrounding a welcome beauty and refreshment. Fresh water would be what I would bring. What would you need to survive???
