The path is long
fraught with stumbles and turns
bruises and bumps
but from each step we learn
The way is unclear
the gravel beneath
cuts and convicts
throwing us on our knees
The trail always upward
I wipe my brow
knowing there’s a finish
I know the way for now
Do you take steps in life that you wish you could re-do? Do you find yourself in unfamiliar settings wondering how you got off course? Life is a journey of uncertainty but we have a master who holds the compass lovingly beckoning us to the next turn of our quest.
Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Proverbs 3:6
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
Matthew 7:13
“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.
The very thoughts on my mind today! Beautifully put, Leslie!

Beautiful poem and beautiful photo, Leslie. That looks like such a great place to walk. Would love to have walked with you there. Life is certainly uncertain, but I suppose all we can do is chin up, look up and press onwards. The more we do, the more we learn and move along…and there’s always a tomorrow to try again 🙂 ❤

The lack of this publicity contributes directly to the amount of the population that watches other
sports instead of soccer. If you think you’ve forgotten some
of the rules, it would not hurt to take a glance of the rules and instructions.
Look inside the records for more information before placing your soccer bets.

Loved this thought-provoking poem ❤
I guess we all have walked paths which we wished we could go back to.. and re-do
But I believe that we walk on those paths for a reason 🙂
Perhaps to learn something which contributes to being the person we are today ❤
Beautifully executed ❤
