What does faith mean to you?

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”

  1. Faith is everything to me, i.e belief in the higher power, good deeds will be rewarded and those who do not believe will face consequences. It’s a good poem,Leslie, thank you. 🙂

  2. Lovely haiku. I love reading them and I’ve always wanted to write them but I’ve never been able to get the right words down to the perfect 5/7/5 combo. I think it takes real talent to express such vivid imagery with such brevity. Faith to me is not always a religious belief, but it is just a spiritual feeling, a peaceful feeling that my family and I will make it through whatever we must and we are exactly where we should be, because something stronger and more powerful than us guided and directed us to where we are. Faith means giving the world our best and knowing that everything will work out the way it was intended to be.
