Uganda is a place that holds so much beauty that passes in a blink. My memory banks are full of flashes of color. I try to imprint in my heart the smiles of people I met. I’m grateful for the telephoto lense that brings a lioness, crocodile and hippo close but not in harm’s way. Im happy for an artform that captures a few memories to relieve.

The header is a mirror image of our dear friend John Pipes who has many gifts including photography.

Thank you for visiting Moondustwriter. One of the many exciting things I've had the honor of doing is writing with an E. African team that is developing elementary curriculum for African children. As a writer, it is a thrill to help children (on all continents) who want to learn. I've been part of the blogging community for more than 10 years. Some old timers may remember the award winning (2011 Twitter Shorty ) blog community - One Stop Poetry. I was the co-producer of that fast growing blog community. I am a published writer, poet, artist and photographer. I have written, as well as edited, for periodicals, radio, blogs and fellow writers. There are many facets to this moon - thanks for stopping by.

  1. Photography is a wonderful way to get close and personal without fear of reprisal from wildlife. I see all too often people doing stupid things in the Great Smoky Mountains like approaching a mama bear with her cubs or getting too close to elk. These sorts of things come with a price, maybe one you aren’t willing to pay. Good job on your post! Check out, Art Sketching Through the Alphabet “P” (Princess & Prince)? Happy A2Zing, pals!
