The clock it is a ticking
which way am I to run
storm front at my doorstep
where did it come from
Fear can be my master
give way to its despair
I tremble in the closet
devastation is so near
cling to strength and promise
your shield will be there
the storm may be coming
it will not linger here
The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him
Nahum 1:7
Our prayers are with the dear people of the Bahamas and to those still in Dorian’s path.
Hi Lesley – evocative poem for people with an enormous burden to bear from Hurricane Dorian as it retreats from the Bahamas, leaving them severely damaged, before it reaches American landfall. The islands are the ones that will be suffering from the aftermath of the storm … I do wish them the best … and thank you for highlighting this way for us – Hilary
