silent steps
down a lonely lane
one tear fell
cannot tell from where
noisy clash
life’s busy intersection
two tears fell
my hand was there
a night of questions
mist obscured vision
three tears fell
my heart laid bare
surrounded by children
orange terra village
two large tears fell
swirling in hot air

You always write meaningful poetry, Leslie. I like the focus on tears and metaphorical meaning behind it. You can see and feel tears fall but sometimes it can be hard to explain why they are falling. Wishing you a wonderful end of the year, and a wonderful year ahead.
