The Power to Rap #FlashFiction

( this is over 160 – don’t mess wit me)

Hear my stic  ‘bout knights of old

Tales foretold

but have u heard one

rarely laid down

Dis is bout a knight’s dayz off

he don’t fight

takes it downtown

the man is gettin down

rappin man is quite a fool

but boyz the ladies think he’s cool

Thanks to my friend Sean Vessey who keeps bailing me out of writing dilemmas. I think this is more his than mine. Join us, each Monday, as we begin The Quest of Titan our  endeavor in writing a novel in “duet” form.

Monkey Man is the fun and crazy weekly host of the fast and furious Flash Fiction. Why Flash? It’s over before you have begun. In 160 characters, there is nothing more than blinking that occurs.

Lord Tennyson I’m not

Tennyson put it this way:

I hold it true, whate’er befall;
I feel it, when I sorrow most;
‘Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all.

I’m reading this and thinkin

That Lordy T – he wasn’t!!!:

So Lordy Listen here-

gonna give it to you straight

gotta hear me from the start

dat Lord poet  guy

I do not

share his art

*

I felt it when you left

a piercing to my heart

I shoulda

thought it through

known betta at the start

***

ya made your way

in a lost and lonely heart

now I’m brokin in pain

sumpins ‘truding

like a dart

**

Lordy dey is quotin ya

takin words a part

listen fool –

“ya must break away

wit out a brokin heart”
