Grandpa’s car always made that noise
leather-like seats had that smell
the doors made a special creak
chrome had a sheen
whitewalls always clean
it felt like home

This month seems a little surreal, I thought I’d write about those cars that our grandparents drove or maybe it was your dad’s car. They took such pride in their cars. It was no jalopy.
Many of my elderly clients have a special car or motorcycle that makes their eyes shine. It might be a picture of a car they once had. My father had replicas of cars he had restored.
This part of elderly care is fun – relive good memories. Cars are an important memory for many.
Va rooom…
Do you have any good car memories????
Thanks A to Z challenge you are classic!
