Mysteries of Life…
Come ponder
the mysteries of life with me
explore life
there’s stars, sun, and sea
I look overhead
as a star shoots past
her lovely display
how I wish it would last
He peeks oer the mountains
in grand display
the flowers lift faces
to greet the day
Take in the movement
of the grand sea
her beauty and strength
life dancing with glee
Life is the thing
we challenge and coax
drawing some sense
the mysteries no hoax
The wonders of thought
a marvel of sorts
we ponder with words
there’s meaning of course

Misunderstood
I look at a reflection
what do I see there?
it appears somewhat uncertain
of my feelings
are you aware?

What is important
is people in my life
they help so much with meaning
simply put
things are less contrived

I once more face dilemma
it hasn’t been the first
acquiesce on what matters
for dissension
I have no thirst

If only you could view me
from another way
that view through the mirror
might reveal
my thoughts this day
