So difficult to sum up this wonderful world of Uganda where my heart is without me. So I share a few.
in the same lane
motorcycles, trucks, and cars
we walk, some make it
Pedestrians is the WordPress photo prompt for the week.
I have learned to share a lane with multiple vehicles and other people in Northern Uganda.

this week’s wordpress photochallenge is Corner. Welcome to this beautiful Uganda “corner”
four different seasons

This week’s photo challenge is Earth. There’s so much beauty (on our planet) where are your favorite places?
Living art
nature creates new dimension

Ikebana is a japanese art form using nature to create the art. The biennial Ikebana exhibit at the Torpedo Factory integrates art. A backdrop (painting) enhances the live art.
I improvised and used a human for my live art and a painting of a photographer for the backdrop.
This week’s photo prompt is Abstract.
As an art student, I was not enamored by the Abstractionist movement. Those I studied were using garbage as their media or a single color on canvas to make a statement. The trend was to break away from the traditional and find new ways to use lines and color.
Be inspired by photographers:
Eye dawns on beauty

All the king’s horses
All the king’s men
couldn’t put anything
together again
Here I lie broken
listless and cracked
there’s one who has risen
will take the world back
So I look to the cross
He will set all wrongs right
today He has risen
there’s love in His light

Today’s photo prompt at WordPress is “State of Mind”
Learning to live by the indwelling life of Christ.
Looking ahead, without looking back (too often)
Thanks for following a cowgirl on her crazy life journey.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before. - Edgar Allan Poe
