Once life was carefree

I hiked among the young hills

they told a story

of those who came and explored

life was new

stories spread far and wide

beauty held in the eye

we walked the world this stick and I

now we sit on the porch

I too, have a walking stick. It sits in the old milk can by the door when not in use. Used it today for the first time in months due to being away, being sick, too much rain, too much heat … a pleasant walk, my stick and I, through our woods today.

I thank you for your visits! I’ve reviewed that that I have missed… all good works.
__Walking stick? If you check my post of June 3rd… a small referral; I actually “fashion” walking sticks, but say very little about them… well, that’s another story.
